PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely stop a car at a specified position on a pallet without causing a displacement and retrieve the car extremely smoothly from the pallet with an extremely simple structure. SOLUTION: This multistory parking garage comprises a plurality of pallets 3 hoisting cars 1 loaded thereon and a hoisting mechanism 4 hoisting the plurality of pallets in horizontal attitude. The pallet 3 comprises wheel locking hole for fitting the wheel 2 of the car 1 therein, and a wheel 2 raising plate 6 is installed in the wheel locking hole 5 movably in vertical direction. The pallet 3 and the raising plate 6 comprises a stopper mechanism 7 stopping the raising plate 6 at the down position of the wheel locking hole 5. The hoisting mechanism 4 comprises a push-up stand 8 pushing up the raising plate 6 from the underside. The push-up stand 8 is installed on the hoisting mechanism 4 so as to be moved between a push-up position of pushing up the raising plate 6 of he pallet 3 moved to the lowermost position from the underside and a non push-up position of not pushing up the raising plate 6.
