PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the joint structure of a structural member, by which the structural strength of a wooden building can be improved while the extension of the building and the earthquake-resisting reinforcement of an existing building are also enabled, which has excellent aseismicity and safety and superior safety in case of the execution of works while having surpassing general-purpose properties and by which joining having excellent joint strength is enabled simply and surely even by an unskilled worker. SOLUTION: The joint structure of the structural member has a vertical structural member 13 abutted by an abutting surface 16a, a horizontal structural member 14, joint-element inserting sections 17 crossed at right angles with the abutting surface 16a from the external wall section of the vertical structural member 13 and bored while being communicated with the horizontal structural member 14 and an adhesive poured into the hollow sections 6 of the joint elements 1, discharged from discharge openings 8 and filled among the outer circumferential surfaces of the joint elements 1 and the peripheral walls of the joint-element inserting sections 17.
