PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition which has airtightness to a certain extent, facilitates its movement, and does not leave setting marks on a ceiling and a floor. SOLUTION: The partition 1 which extends from the floor 2 to the ceiling 3, for partitioning the interior of a room into a plurality of spaces, is constituted of a panel 5 forming a wall surface 4, a height adjusting board 6 arranged at an upper portion of the panel 5, backup members 7 each formed of an elastic body and arranged at a lower portion of the panel 5 and an upper portion of the height adjusting board 6, and round bases 8 having curved surfaces to cover a lower end of the panel 5 and the backup member 7 below the same from both sides of the panel.
