摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and simply infer the state of degradation of a stack lining without stopping the passage of flue gas or executing high lift work. SOLUTION: A pH value of the lining as the result of chemical analysis by coring, etc., and the integral value of time during which the interior of the lining drops below the dew point within a prescribed period of time serve as indices of neutralization that is a factor in degradation of the lining, and there is a correlation between the pH value of the lining and the integral value. The pH value is measured when the stack is constructed or at a specific time after the stack construction, and when a period of time N1 has elapsed from the time above, while the temperature of the lining is continuously measured for the period of time N1 to find the integral of time during which the interior of the lining drops below the dew point. A coefficient relating to the degradation of the lining is found based on the pH values and on the integral value. Then, the future state of degradation of the lining is inferred based on the integral value of time during which the interior of the lining drops below the dew point and on the coefficient.
