Injection nozzle has a steel tube (1) with a connecting head (4-1) formed at one end. The head is of conical shape with a flattened end face to be fitted into a seating. The inner bore of the head has a shallow groove (5a) with a small included angle formed by a deformation resulting from a pressure exerted on the head. A connecting bush (2a) is formed behind the shoulder between the head and tube. Independent claims are also included for a method of making the nozzle and a washer for use with the nozzle
