The valve to assist starting an internal combustion motor has a housing (1) for a non-return valve with a ball (2), spring (3), a spring protection limit (4), and openings (13) at the housing upper section (5). A pressure chamber (15) holds the pressure of the gas flowing through the non-return valve, and throttles the gas flow during starting by different cross sections (12,14). The pressure in the chamber closes an upper ball (6) and spring (7) during starting. A vibration damper has a conical pin (8) from the spring limit, and a ball (9) with a spring (10) to hold the upper ball (6) while the motor is running.
