The crankshaft (1) has a flywheel (3), a crankshaft starter-generator (4) with rotor (5) formed as a torsional vibration damper, and a torque-adaptive vibration absorber (10). All components are mounted on the transmission-sided end (2) of the crankshaft and adapted to each other for damping and vibration-absorbing effect, so that vibration amplitude on the crankshaft has a min. value over the entire speed range of the crankshaft.
