STACKABLE CONTAINER

The invention relates to a stackable container (30), which is designed in such a way that when filled with goods, it can be stacked on top of other containers or, when empty, it can be stacked inside other containers. The container has a bottom (2), a front wall (3), a rear wall (4), a left side wall (5), and a right side wall (6), in order to form a receiving element which is open at the top. There are four grooves (7, 8) in the left side wall (5) and the right side wall (6) respectively, each groove having upper openings (21, 22) and lower groove stops (10,11). Four sliding pegs are positioned on the outer surface of the left side wall (5) and the right side wall (6) respectively. Horizontally, the spaces between the sliding pegs (12, 13) are different to the spaces between the upper openings (21, 22) of the grooves, and the same as the spaces between the lower groove stops, in order to avoid an upper container being inadvertently placed in a lower container.
