Composition (I) comprises a solution of a mixture of biological and/or pharmaceutical active agents (such as alpha -blockers, antibiotics, natural drugs and/or the herbal extract 'PC-SPEC' (see US5665393)) containing dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) or hyaluronidase (HS) as diffusion promoting auxiliary. An Independent claim is included for a catheter for treating prostate diseases by increasing the concentration of active agents in prostate tissue, consisting of a permanent catheter containing an inner urinary catheter and an outer, partially perforated application catheter.
