Where the cover (1) seats onto the container and/or near the centering section, a bonding zone is formed. An elastomeric sealing system (7) is then adhered onto the cover base (2) in this zone, being especially vulcanized-on. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method of manufacture. The cover base (2) is introduced into a mold, locating the previously-formed bonding zone in a mold cavity section destined to form the seal. A silicone-based material is vulcanized onto the cover base, in this cavity. The corresponding mold in two halves, is also claimed.
