In the gear change leverage coupler the end of a first gear shift bar (5), away from the gear lever, carries an expander, with which it is inserted into a tubular end (18) of the second gear shift bar (7). The expander can be spread from an accessible position, away from the coupler, via a remote control. Pref. the expander comprises offset plate springs (10) and a clamping bush (13), coaxial to the gear shift bars, with inner dia. non-rotatably fitted to the first gear shift bar, and with its outer dia. abutting the inner wall of the tubular end. |
