The invention concerns a waste shredder, such as a double-rotor shredder for motor vehicle tyres, some of its components (rotor, shearing wheel) and a maintenance method for said shredder. The shredder comprises at least a rotor having at least a shearing wheel including: a support ring (6) adapted to be driven in rotation by a shaft (3) and defining a plurality of peripheral sections, a plurality of shearing blades (8, 9) arranged to match the sections so as to be urged in radial projection relative to the peripheral surface of the support ring (6). Said wheel is characterised in that it comprises a plurality of blade-holding parts (7), whereon the blades (8, 9) are fixed with removable fixing means (11, 13) accessible from the outer lateral shearing surfaces of the blades, the blade-holding parts (7) being adapted to be pressed or to be fixed, by removable fixing means (17) on the sections of the support ring (6) peripheral surface. |
