The slicer machine has a cutting-head (14), a feeder-table (16) on which the loaf-shaped food product (50) rests; and a forward-feed appliance (18) supplying the product to the cutter-head. The forward-feed appliance comprises a holder (40) with at least one holder element incorporating at least one suction-head (46) defining a vacuum chamber open towards the product-loaf. The suction head has a filter arrangement.
