An image displaying system of environment-adaptive type, an image processing method and an information storage medium, which can reproduce an identical color by absorbing the difference in visual environments at a plurality of places. In the individual environments, on the basis of the XYZ values of an image of an image display region measured by a chromatic sensor (60) and the XYZ values measured in a reference environment, a chromatic information processing unit (140) is used to generate image data which have absorbed the difference in the visual environment between the reference environment and the individual environments. The input/output profile of a projector is corrected by using a profile administering unit (130), and the image is projected and displayed by using an L/V drive unit (190).
