Dual action door lock which has the inner door handle pulling back the catch as well as the locking bolt

A dual action door lock has a locking catch (3) that secures the door when closed and a separate locking bolt (4) operated by a key from the outside and by a locking knob on the inside. The lock action is such that the inner door handle operates on both the locking catch and the locking bolt for a single action lock release. The design of the lock enables it to be fitted either way round, with the locking catch pulled out and rotated through 180 deg.
