<p>A neon tube support is secured fixed without cement, screws or fasteners of any kind, by means of a tap-in the hollow fixing bit (18) right below the body into a predrilled surface panel (19) preventing unsightly view of cement smudges, screw heads or scattering nuts on the back of a sign panel. The fixing means prevented the presence of an unsightly extended fixing foot which saves cost on raw material and yet offers an optional concealed fixing with a fastener. Height adjustment is provided by a single complementary thread (15) fix-moulded into the wall of the bore (14a) in the body (16) receiving the threaded stem (12) with integrated support head (13) where the neon tube is tied. Threading means offers no slip-up should the threaded stem (12) be pulled or pushed-in accidentally or otherwise.</p> |
