The invention relates to a device (1; 12) for fastening an outside mirror on a door of a motor vehicle, comprising a mirror triangle (2; 13) on which the outside mirror can be fastened via a mirror foot (3; 14), and optionally a mounting arm (4) that is disposed on the mirror triangle (2; 13). The aim of the invention is to provide a simple quick-mount device (1; 12) for fastening the outside mirror that reliably prevents humidity from penetrating into the passenger compartment of the vehicle in the area between the mirror triangle (2; 3) and the mirror foot (3; 14) and that reduces clattering and wind noise to a minimum. To this end, the mirror triangle (2; 13) and the mirror foot (3; 14) and preferably also the mounting arm (4) are configured as a one-piece shaped metal part.
