The torsional oscillation damper (10) comprises a primary side (12) connected or connectable with a drive mechanism. A secondary side (16), connected or connectable with a power take-off, rotates on a rotary axis against the action of a damping arrangement (14) consisting of at least one tension spring unit (24) positioned in a peripheral direction. The tension spring unit is connected or connectable with at least one side of the primary and secondary sides in the connecting parts(30). The tension spring unit comprises at least one tension spring (26,28).
