The present invention discloses a novel polypeptide - human B cell protein tyrosine kinase 13 and a polynucleotide encoding the same, as well as a method of producing the polypeptide by DNA recombinant technique. The present invention also discloses methods of using the polypeptide in treatment of various disease, such as agammaglobulinaemia, Fabry's disease, Alport syndrome, X-linked chromosomal hereditary disease, other immunological disease, various tumor, developmental disturbance, inflammation, blood disease, HIV infection and so on. The present invention also discloses an antagonist againts the polypeptide and the therapeutic use of the same. Also disclosed is the use of such novel polynucleotide encoding human B cell protein tyrosine kinase 13.
