The angled plug connector has an insulating contact bearer with contact channels and a grip body fixed to it with channels for inserting insulated braids of a connecting cable that cross the contact channels obliquely. The contact channels contain contacts with end points for penetrating braids movable into contact positions in which the penetration points are in the braids in the braid channels. The angled plug connector (10) has a contact bearer (11) prefabricated from insulating material with individual contact (16) channels (17) formed in it and a grip body (13) fixed to the contact bearer. The grip body is a one-piece component of the contact bearer and has channels (27) for inserting insulated braids (14) of a connecting cable (15) that cross the contact channels obliquely. The contact channels contain contacts (16) with end points (31) for penetrating braids movable into contact positions in which the penetration points are in the braids in the braid channels.
