The method involves two control options, turning a rotary switch in a first of two predefined rotation directions to activate control of the first functional group and turning it in a second direction from any position to activate control of the second function group, whereby adjustable parameters of both groups can be achieved by rotating the rotary switch in different serially successive rotary positions. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method.
