<p>The invention relates to a method of processing an input sound signal (ISS) into at least one output signal (OS) by means of a room simulation processing (RSP> said method comprising the steps of processing the input sound signal into at least two sound signal components (SSC1, SSC2, SSC3, SSC4), each sound signal component (SSC1, SSC2, SSC3, SSC4) representing room simulation of said input signal (ISS) when having a predefined directivity pattern (PDP1, PDP2, PDP3, PDP4), at least two of said predefined directivity patterns (PDP1, PDP2, PDP3, PDP4) being mutually different, and combining said at least two sound signal components (SSC1, SSC2, SSC3, SSC4) into a resulting room simulation.
