PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for packing which has a good sealing capability and is safe, nonpolluting, and low in cost and a method for producing a lid with packing. SOLUTION: A resin composition 3 for packing which at least contains an olefin resin, a blowing agent, and a cross-linker, does not contain a plasticizer, and is in the shape of minipellets having pellet sizes of 0.1-3 mm is charged into an annular groove 2 of a canopy 1 and then heated; thus, a solid foam as packing is formed integrally with the annular groove 2 of the canopy 1. |
