PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which can continuously produce a phosphor precursor crystal, is excellent in production efficiency, and produces a phosphor precursor crystal having particle properties almost equal to those obtained by a batch treatment. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for producing a phosphor precursor crystal at least comprises a reaction vessel 14 for containing a reaction mother liquor 12 and a stirrer 18 having a stirrer blade 30 for stirring the liquid in the vessel 14 provided the apparatus has a means 28 for taking out the phosphor precursor crystal formed on the bottom of the vessel 14.
