PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying passage blocking detector which detects any blockage of a carrying part for dropping and carrying the stuff such as a chute and a hopper, and gives a warning or stop the carriage. SOLUTION: In the carrying passage blocking detector for detecting the blocked condition of the stuff including a dielectric stuff in the spatially limited carrying part which is provided on the carrying passage comprising a carrying means such as a belt conveyor and drops and carries the stuff from an upper position to a lower position, a window formed of a non-metallic material is provided on a cover for covering or sealing the carrying part, and an electrostatic capacity sensor is disposed on the outer side of the window.
