PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure for an automobile, capable of improving its rigidity while maintaining the draining performance of a chassis frame. SOLUTION: The frame structure for the automobile comprises a chassis frame 11 formed by applying mutual welding between a rear end 13a of a center frame 13 and a front end 14a of a rear frame 14, lapped thereover, in such a manner that a front end 14g of a bottom portion 14d of the rear frame 14 is extended to a bottom portion 13d of the center frame 13 in welding.
