PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of a synthetic resin by shortening the length of the initial end part of the molten resin (sheet b) extruded from a die (a) when the initial end part is positioned in the side wall part of a molding mold, in a method for molding a sheet structure for molding the sheet (b) by supplying the molten resin in a sheet shape form the die (a) onto the molding surface of the molding mold. SOLUTION: By adopting a means which holds the initial end part of the sheet (b) extruded from the die (a) by a holding means 20c in the side wall part 21b of the molding mold 20a and positions it in the molding mold 20a, the initial end part of the sheet (b) can be positioned in the molding mold 20a in a short state.
