PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new reaction product which has an excellent electric charge-generating ability, exhibits excellent electrophotographic characteristics and is useful as an organic photoconductor for electrophotosensitizers. SOLUTION: This crystalline reaction product which can be obtained by reacting (i) a nitrile derivative represented by general formula (1) with (ii) a phthalonitrile derivative represented by general formula (2) [R1 to R5 are each independently H, a halogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have one or more substituents, an aromatic group which may have one or more substituents, a hydrocarbon-oxy group which may have one or more substituents, nitro or cyano, or two among R2 to R5 may be bound to each other to form a ring; (n) is an integer of 1 or 2] or a 1,3-diiminoisoindoline derivative represented by general formula (3), and if necessary, (iii) a metal or a compound having the metal.
