PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for making an inorganic board wherein when inorganic slurry is supplied, a comblike stirrer reciprocating up and down and left and right is arranged in a width direction to an advancing direction of an inorganic green board, a dispersion in thickness in the making width direction is difficult to be generated, and a dispersion in specific gravity is not generated. SOLUTION: For the method and the apparatus for making an inorganic board, in the method for making the inorganic board wherein hydraulic setting cement, and an inorganic slurry having aggregate and water as main components are kneaded, the inorganic slurry is made to form an inorganic green board, the inorganic green board is dehydrated by pressing and thereafter, cured by drying to form the inorganic board, and when the inorganic slurry is supplied, the comblike stirrer reciprocating up and down and left and right is arranged in the width direction to the advancing direction of the inorganic green board.
