PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system in which an effective system is configured even when a copy function is added to a printer function. SOLUTION: The imaging system exhibiting a copy function in addition to an essential printer function by providing a scanner additionally comprises a printer engine 1 outputting an image based on received image data, a printer controller 2 performing the printer function by receiving image data from an external unit and delivering processed image data to the printer engine, a scanner 3 for reading out a document image and delivering image data based on the document image, a first communication passage 11 connecting between the printer engine and the printer controller, a second communication passage 12 connecting between the first communication passage and the scanner, and a third communication passage 13 connecting between the printer engine and the scanner. |
