METHOD FOR CRACKING ORGANIC CHLORINE COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with the conventional cracking technique which is intended for a large-sized incineration furnace based on continuous running and is hardly applicable to a small-sized incineration furnace of low temperature. SOLUTION: This cracking device for organic chlorine compounds consists of a dust collection section 1 for capturing fly ash and a cracking catalyst section 3 having oxidation cracking ability to the organic chlorine compounds. The dust collection section 1 has heating means 2 and is arranged on the upstream side of the cracking catalyst section 3. This device is capable of continuously cracking the dioxins in exhaust gases and the dioxins in the fly ash and is suitable for a device, such as a small-sized incineration furnace.
