PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink jet recording sheet, which is excellent in the water resistance, color foring properties and absorbency of a water-based ink jet ink, with which a clear and high density image can be formed. SOLUTION: This water-based ink jet recording sheet is formed by having an ink accepting layer on a base material. The ink accepting layer consists of a resin and fine hydrophilic inorganic particles, which are dispersed in the resin and, in addition, covered with substance with anion trapping properties. |
