SELF-SUPPORTING BAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting bag which can be simply manufactured of a pillow-type bag with self-supporting properties applied by forming a base into a rectangular shape. SOLUTION: A laminate sheet comprising a base layer and a heat-bonding resin layer is formed with a butt-seamed heat-bonded portion and a base end rim heat-bonded portion which are orthogonal to each other to provide the pillow-type bag. A barrel located in the vicinity of the base end rim heat-bonded portion is formed into a parallelopiped form. In addition, base side rim heat- bonded portions are formed linearly along two sides which are adjacent to the parallelopiped barrel and opposite in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the base end rim heat-bonded portion. Portions outside the base side rim heat-bonded portions are cut to provide the self-supporting bag having a rectangular base.
