PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive coating device reducing the loss of the cut ends of the edges of the width direction of a fabric sheet and increasing the yield of products. SOLUTION: The adhesive coating device is used for receiving an adhesive A stored in a dam plate 13 by a coating roller 11 and then the adhesive A on the coating roller 11 is scrapped off by a coating width setting roller and the adhesive A on the coating roller 11 is formed into a given thickness, and the adhesive mass of the given thickness is transferred to a sheet 14 carried by a backup roller 12, and the backup roller 12 is provided with a sheet supporting face 12a of the width slightly wider than the sheet width, and the coating roller 11 is provided with an adhesive holding face 11a having its width wider than that of the sheet supporting face 12 a of the backup roller 12 and the dam plate is provided with scrapping means 19 forming an adhesive agent transfer area of the same width as that of the sheet 14 on an adhesive holding face 11a of the coating roller 11 and also scrapping off the adhesive (a) protruded out of the adhesive agent transfer area of the coating roller 11.
