PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical roll storage box comprising a storage chamber and a lid body covering it in which three elements of the locking capacity when the lid body is closed, the easy opening/closing property of the lid body and the durability of the locking capacity are harmonized. SOLUTION: In the cylindrical roll storage box comprising the storage chamber 12 and the lid body 13, a tongue piece 14 is extended in the direction of a rear plate from an outer boundary of a front plate 1 and a side plate 8 covered by the lid body, and protruded from the surface of the side plate 8.
