PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently circulate an electrolyte in the electrode compartment of a large-sized aqueous alkali metal salt solution electrolytic cell of the ion- exchange membrane process and to maintain the current density in long-period electrolysis and the service life of the ion-exchange membrane. SOLUTION: An ejector with a supplied liquid as a driving fluid is set at the liquid inlet at the lower part of the electrode compartment frame. |
