The compounds of the formulawherein the symbols R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1 to C3 lower alkyl radical, are advantageous as perfuming ingredients for the preparation of perfuming compositions and perfumed articles, to which they impart odoriferous notes of the lily of the valley type.
