PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque support device allowing the idling motion of an engine but not propagating it and moreover ensuring torque support during driving and simple assembly. SOLUTION: A torque support part 1 disposed crosswise at a vehicle comprises a support arm 2 connected to a cylinder head hood 12 through a rigid joint support part 11, and a stay 3 provided continuously with the support arm 2 and held through an elastic support part 4 fixed in position. The stay 3 is mounted to a side member of body structure of the vehicle on the end side.
