PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dye composition having extremely high hair dyeing power, slight color fading over time, slightly causing change in color tone of the hair dye on storage. SOLUTION: This hair dyeing agent composition contains a direct dye of formula (1) [Z1 is a group of formula (2) (A is a cationic heterocyclic group which may contain a substituent group or may be annelated; T is O, S or NR2 (R2 is H, a (substituted) 1-6C alkyl group or a (substituted) 2-6C alkenyl group); W is a single bond, a (CH2)n group, a (CH2)n-NR3 group or a (CH2)n-O group or the like (R3 is H or a (substituted) 1-6C alkyl group; n is an integer of 1-4); B is a (substituted) aromatic ring; R1 is H or a (substituted) 1-6C alkyl group; p is 0 or 1; X is H, Me or CN); Z2 and Z3 are each a group of formula (2), NR4R5 (R4 and R5 are each H, a (substituted) 1-6C alkyl group, a (substituted) 2-6C alkenyl group or a (substituted) aryl group or R4, R5 and an adjoining N form a heterocyclic ring) or a cationic group; m is an integer of 1-3; Y- is an anion].
