PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience such as the slip out of the tip end part of filing legs, pushed out between both cover elements, or the very hard work of inserting the filing legs upon filing papers or the like which are generated in the file having the covers of double structure when the number of sheets of the papers is increased. SOLUTION: The base ends 21a, 31a of the filing legs 21, 31 are attached to one of the covers 1A, 1B and inserting holes 22, 32, permitting the insertion of the tip ends 21a, 31a of the filing legs 21, 31, are provided on the other one of the covers 1A, 1B while the papers Y are filed by inserting the filing legs 21, 31 between the inner cover element 4 and the outer cover element 5 positioned so as to oppose to the inner cover element 4. In such a file, interposing spaces S, permitting the interposing of the filing legs 31, 21 between the inner cover element 4 and the outer cover element 5, are formed by projecting bodies 8, drooped from the lower surface of protective members 6 attached to the inserting holes 32, 22.
