PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a handle of an umbrella as the contour easy in handling of the umbrella with excellent grasping feeling and sufficiently graspable even for a person having relatively small grasping power such as a child, an aged person and a handicapped person. SOLUTION: This handle of the umbrella is characterized in that wedge- shaped webs and grooves 3a and 4 of 8 to 16 pieces when viewed on the circumference are provided on a surface of a grip part 3 continuing with a curved part 2 of the handle 1 of the umbrella and having a diameter larger than the curved part 2 of the handle 1 of the umbrella, a couple of wedge-shaped webs and grooves 7 and 8 are also provided on one side surface or both side surfaces of the curved part 2, and a hole 5 for fitting and fixing a shaft of the umbrealla is arranged in the center.
