PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polylactic acid resin molded product capable of controlling a rate of biodegradability to set a specified period by a physical treatment of the surface of the molded product modifying the chemical structure of the surface layer and introducing an oxygen-containing group thereto. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid resin molded article is modified in the chemical structure of the surface layer to introduce an oxygen-containing functional group thereinto and as a result, the biodegradable period is controlled for a specified period of time, and a method of manufacturing the above polylactic acid resin molded product is disclosed.
