PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new agrochemical, especially an insecticide or miticide. SOLUTION: The subject acrylonitrile compound is shown by the formula (1) [wherein, R is a 1-6C alkyl, (1-4C alkyl-substituted) 3-7C cycloalkyl, (substituted) phenyl or the like; R1 is H, a halogen, 1-6C alkyl or the like; A is a (substituted) pyrazol-4-yl or (substituted) pyridin-3-yl; and B is H, a 1-4C alkyl, 2-4C alkoxyalkyl or the like]. A new agrochemical comprising the above acrylonitrile compound is provided.
