PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot capable of being correctly located on a display image plane and moving the robot (or a specific part of the robot, to a predetermined position relative to the display image plane, in particular, the robot capable of executing the motion indicating a specific one point on the display image plane, and to provide an electronic trading system of high convenience in use. SOLUTION: A sensor 13 measuring the relative positional relationship to a display device (CRT) 15 is mounted on a tip of an indication bar 12 held by the robot 11 moving in the direction of a degree of freedom on a plane of a desk 10, and the indication bar 12 is controlled to follow up a target value 17 on the basis of the target value 17 obtained from a present position 16 indicated by the indication bar 12 and a personal computer 14. Whereby the robot can follow a robot position target value on a coordinate system on the basis of a position of the CRT provided from the personal computer.
