PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adsorb and eliminate unpleasant odor of formaldehyde, amines, etc., generating from an adhesive of a plywood often used as an interior material or from a coating or spontaneously generating in daily life by imparting a textile product or film ordinarily present in the room of a house or their secondary products, i.e., daily commodity, bedding, interior goods and interior materials such as curtain and carpet with a function to adsorb and eliminate the unpleasant odor. SOLUTION: The objective fiber is produced by spinning a chitin-chitosan viscose containing 20-80 mol% chitin structure unit and 80-20 mol% chitosan structure unit or a cellulose viscose containing >=3 wt.% chitin-chitosan viscose.
