PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact disk storing tray capable of allowing a CD medium stored in the storing tray to be very simply withdrawn therefrom and being manufactured more inexpensively and simply. SOLUTION: A storing unit 1 to be mounted to the compact disk storing tray is composed of an upper plate 2, an intermediate plate 3 and a lower plate 4, which are all formed into substantially square shape. The upper plate 2, the intermediate plate 3, and the lower plate 4 are laminated on and bonded to one another to form a take-in/out portion for a CD medium. Further, cut-off holes 1a, 1d are provided in the upper plate 2 and in the intermediate plate 3, respectively. The cut-off hole 1a to be provided in the intermediate plate 3 has a size large enough to contain the CD medium, and the cut-off hole 1a to be provided in the upper plate 2 is provided with protruding pieces 2a, 2a and has a size a little smaller than that of the CD medium.
