PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for steam cleaning wherein the washing efficiency by steam is high, and in addition, the frequency for the replacement of a floorcloth to wipe water is less, and the replacement of the floorcloth can be easily performed, and a part for a brush which is used for the attachment for steam cleaning. SOLUTION: This attachment for steam cleaning is constituted of an attachment body 2, a steam-introducing section 10, and a floorcloth-fitting section 3. In this case, the attachment body 2 is equipped with an opening which is approximately totally closed by a floor surface, and constitutes a steam-residing chamber 22 which makes steam reside together with the floor surface which approximately totally covers the opening. The steam-introducing section 10 introduces steam from a steam-guiding pipe 200 into the steam-residing chamber 22, and jets the steam toward the opening. The floorcloth-fitting section 3 has a floorcloth-fitting surface 32 on which a floorcloth 50 to wipe the floor surface can be freely fitted under an extended state. Also, the part 6 for the brush is constituted as a separate body.
