PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heating device in which an inflow of water flooded from a pot due to an excessive pour and descending on a device body into a recess part of a plug seat is prevented by a longer running-down-distance of the plug seat and a gap between a surface of the seat and the device body. SOLUTION: The inflow of water into the recess part 25 on the plug seat is prevented by the running-down-distance on one hand and the gap on the other, wherein the center of the plug seat 23 is eccentric to the center of the recess part 25 and a projection of the plug seat in a side with eccentricity from the device body 22 is larger than that of the other side.
