PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition capable of shortening the gel time when resorcinol novolak is used as an epoxy resin hardener. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition indispensably contains (1) an epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in a molecule, (2) resorcinol novolak, and (3) a benzoxazine compound having an oxazine ring in a molecule. A hardened product of the epoxy resin composition is also provided.
