PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electroforming die by which the organic die part of a nozzle forming member is forward-tapered with good controllability. SOLUTION: According to the method of this invention for manufacturing an ink-jet head, a photosensitive film is first deposited on a substrate, and a light-shielding film is deposited on the photosensitive film. Meanwhile, a diffused light is projected from above the light-shielding film, and a forward- tapered electroforming die is formed with the optional part exposed by the development by the diffused light left. Subsequently, an electroformed film is accumulated by electroforming, an ink-repellent surface film is deposited on the electroformed film, the substrate and electroforming die are removed, and a nozzle hole having a reverse-tapered section is formed with a discharge face directed upward.
